Hi, I’m Asimah! The founder of AZ Tutoring! I’ve always had a passion for maths—it’s the one subject that’s always made sense to me, and I love showing students that it doesn’t have to be as complicated as it seems. I have a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Mathematics and have been tutoring maths and sciences for years, helping students of all ages and abilities build confidence and reach their goals.

I started AZ Tutoring because I saw so many students struggling—not because they weren’t capable, but because they weren’t being taught in a way that worked for them. I wanted to change that. My teaching style is all about simplifying concepts and making learning more accessible. I break things down into easy-to-understand steps, use real-world examples to make topics click, and create bespoke crash courses and resources that strip everything down to exactly what you need to know—no fluff, just clear, effective learning.

I work with students of all ages, from younger kids building their foundations to GCSE students preparing for exams. No matter where you are in your learning journey, my goal is to make maths and science feel less intimidating and more approachable.

Outside of teaching, I love photography and travelling, which I think helps me bring a creative touch to my lessons. I want every student to feel supported, encouraged, and capable of achieving more than they thought possible. With the right approach, anyone can succeed in maths and science!
